How to attract birds to your landscape using a fountain or water feature. Birds are attracted to water not just for drinking, Birds just like us love bathing and splashing in water. When you add a fountain or water feature to your landscape your garden will become the most popular spot in the neighborhood. The sound of running water will become a beacon to our feathered friends. We have found that birds will be attracted to any addition of water but if the water is running, the sound will attract more birds. The most popular bird fountains are the ones with multiple levels and the ones with a shallow bowl at the top for bathing. The multiple level bird fountains give the birds a variety of spots to land and enjoy their own private spot without having to share. Our stacked boulder fountains are the perfect choice to attract birds. Another great choice is the boulders with the shallow birdbath bowl at the top. The water is the perfect depth for birds looking for a place to take a bath. Even the jar fountains will attract birds, they will land on the edge of the jar to drink, some of the pottery jars have a shallow bowl in the top just for the birds. Remember to add a heater to your bird fountain so you can keep it running in the winter. Birds need water in the winter too!

Pump Flow Rates.  We get many people calling and e-mailing us with questions about flow rates on our fountains. We use a lot of different pump sizes in our fountains.
​The pumps we use are made to work together with our fountain set up. Many people who contact us are trying to put together their own fountain and they don't know what size pump to use. We cannot answer those questions. The video at right explains why. 

Custom Bowl with copper spillway for a swimming pool. This is a custom job. This bowl will sit on the edge of a pool and water will flow over the copper spillway into the pool. We installed the pipe with side flow so that the water would flow smoothly over the spillway into the pool. We do all types of waterfeatures.
