How realistic are our GFRC bouldersHow real do our Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete boulders look? The video shows just how real they look. At our retail location we have real rocks and our gfrc rocks scattered around our display gardens. It still fools us all the time!

GFRC (glass fiber reinforced concrete) is a very strong fiber cement product used in zoo exhibits and animal habitats. If its strong enough for bears to climb all over it then its strong enough! It has the look, feel and texture of real rock at about 1/5 the weight. First you make a mold of a real rock (mother rock). Then you make one rock at a time all by hand. The video at right shows you what to expect when you receive your new rock and what to expect through the years.
