About Our PotteryAll of our urns are of the finest quality. Each urn is hand made and high temperature fired. Each piece is unique and will have slight differences in color and shape. Some jars will have seep holes where the water may slowly drain into your basin. Since the basin catches the water this should not be a problem. Your jar may have kiln cracks, they are small cracks caused by the clay shrinking during the firing process. This does not affect the strength of your urn. You may notice other small cosmetic blemish such as areas where the glaze is thin or missing, chips, rub marks etc all of these are normal and are the nature of a handmade product. We inspect all of our jars before shipping. We will not sell a damaged jar. There will be no return, credit or replacement given for these cosmetic flaws. No exceptions. We will be happy to provide a photo of each jar before shipping, the charge for this service is $15 each jar.
